i have a question im running 3 kicker comp vr 12s dual 4 ohm to a kenwood 1000 watt i dont remeber the model number but im running it in series at 2.7 ohms and the amp is shutting off it says it can be ran to 2 ohms or 4 is 2.7 to much for it everything is brand new the amp has a cooling fan any suggestions?

nominal impeadiance is nothing man just remember that.
Your subwoofer system probally drops below 2 ohm's at a specific frequncie. change the q of you box to have a impeadance curve above 2 ohms throughout the bandwith desired. or just turn your gains down!! i mean it. Siginal saturation will cause clipping and make things real hot real fast. Just be smart about it. If you want more low bass dont turn up the low bass turn down the high bass and than turn up volume master more to compensate for siginal loss. Andy
