Default HU won't power up!

Here’s the deal…

My head unit (JVC KD-SH1000) is getting power. It will load and eject a disk.

Unfortunately it will not turn on!

Any ideas?

Seems that the HU it' s not correctly connected... usually there' s two wires to conncet to +12V (usually Yellow and Red), give a better look to connections.

Thanks for the suggestion. The "vehicle specific" aftermarket harness was all F'd up. All the pin locations were swapped. I'm just lucky I didn't zap my new HU. I'll post some pics when I get everything done.

Thanks again!
