Stupid SIPMOS and MOSFET question

Are SIPMOS and P-Channel MOSFET's are have any in common? Internal structure are different. I am looking to sub a BUZ272 with something and thinking that 9540 may be of some use. Thank you!

While it's always best to use the original part number, I would think that the 9540 would be a good sub. The difference in a hexfet and a sipmos is likely only the geometry of the silicon die.

Remember that you must replace all transistors that are connected in parallel. If each channel has 3 P-channels, you must replace all 3 in the blown channel. If you don't, the current load won't be shared equally and the repaired amp won't be reliable.

Thanks a lot! That's a very good news :D I will replace all parallel ones.
