DIY components?
I have been looking at upgrading the rears in my gf's car.
What I would like to do is put a set of Ascendant audio 6.5" mids with a vifa xt25sc50-04 tweeter. Basically a small flanged XT25 home audio tweeter. Any chance I could use a xo calculator and get good sounding results. I was planning a 2,500 xo point 4th order LR.Here is a link to the calculator I mentioned. I don't have testing equipment so I thought this might work since I don't believe any BSC would be needed for a car application. xo calculator The current rears are infinity kappa 693i's. I believe she blew out one of the mids. The head unit is a alpine v-drive can't remember the model # 60wX4. |
