i want to but 2 amps, a 4000 watt amp and a 800 watt amp , with the 4000 watt amp i am purchasing a 1.0 farad capacitor, i was wondering how much power i would need to run this system? would the stock alternator do it? or would i need a more powerfull one like a ambulance alternator. Thanks

Well worst case cenario assuming youre running the first amp at its max(dont know why you would) at .5 ohms and the secound amp at 70w x 4 (all ratings RMS ) i get a current of 97 amps.
70wx4@4ohms
