a couple of days ago my amp started putting out less and less power until it finally stopped putting out period. the power led light would stay on for around a couple of minutes and slowly fade out. what type of problem does this sound like? can anyone recommend a place for repair? any help with this will be greatly appreciated.

You need to see if the B+ and remote are at ~12 volts. Connect the black meter lead to the amplifier's ground terminal. Set the meter to DC volts.
