I currently have an Audiobahn ALUM15N subwoofer in a small sealed box. I also have a Sony XM-2200GTX two channel amp as well as a Pyle PLA4300D mono block amplifier (my sub is currently hooked up to the Pyle amp only). Yes, I know that my choice of amplifiers is not of the greatest quality, but what can I say, I was being cheap when I bought them. Anyways, I was wondering if there was anything I could do to get my sub to hit louder, especially at the lower frequencies. Do any of you have perhaps some box suggestions (ported?) or any amplifier suggestions? For some reason I feel that the sub is not playing anywhere close to as loud as it can. Any help is appreciated.
