Same old story. My nephew is 2500 miles away, and wants
me to help him get his sound system running. I have a house and can get laid in my own bedroom, so I don't spend any time on car stereo stuff :-) So heres the question: How bad is some of the junk at Best (worst) Buy? The Fosgate stuff is good, but what about the Sony stuff? All I need is something 2 ohm stable, as he is not doing any competition. I would like to tell him "Go to Ciruit City or Worst Buy. Stick with these 3 brands (Fosgate, Sony, Kenwood or whatever). Make sure it is stable into 2 ohms. Get as much wattage as you can afford" Any particular ones to avoid? Any that stand out as good bang for your buck? Is the Fosgate stuff overpriced? Any comments are appreciated... -herm |
