Would this amp work?

Hey guys, i had that other post about what amp and now i know what to look for. This is one of the main amps i came up with.

It is possible you could be happy with that setup but you REALLY need to know how to adjust an amp. The gain setting is not a volume control and it would be easy to destroy a speaker with less than its RMS rating by sending it a clipped signal. Finding an amp closer to the peak rating of the speaker and setting the gain conservatively will allow your components to perform their best without the defecits normally experienced by straining to reach their limits.

Guys, is this amp for real???

It says it has 4x15 amp fuses, yet its peak output power is 980 watts. That would require a 16.3 volt electrical system! I calculate 864 watts peak at 14.4 volts. Not to say thats not a lot of power, but it makes me weary about the maufacturers specifications. Furthermore, I generally do not think highly of Power Acoustik anyways.

I would look at www.sounddomain.com for good deals on some good amps.
