this is for a linear power 4753 iq. i wanted to keep it separate from the 2.2 thread.. so i did the same readings. only when i touch the +b lead i get a small spark. here are the pwm readings. it is a:
SG3526N chip pin 1: 4.98 volts pin 2: 0.002 volts pin 3: 4.20 volts pin 4: 4.65 volts pin 5: 4.98 volts pin 6: 0.002 volts pin 7: 0.002 volts pin 8: 4.95 volts pin 9: 3.57 volts pin 10: 1.876 volts pin 11: 0.002 volts pin 12: 4.31 volts pin 13: 4.69 volts pin 14: 10.78 volts pin 15: 0.003 volts pin 16: 4.68 volts pin 17: 10.78 volts pin 18: 4.98 volts it is possible that hte 10.78 volt readings are because the power source i was using was possibly losing power. thanks guys i appreciate any and all comments.

This supply also looks like it's up and running.
The low voltage is likely due to a low power supply input voltage. What are the part numbers on the power supply transistors? Can you email me high res photos of the two amplifiers (2.2 and 4753)? babin_perry@yahoo.com

I have a LP 4753IQ, but it runs fine. I'll keep an eye on this thread and see if I can help if you need anything.
