Head Unit

i'm looking for a good headunit, good quality and that doesn't look like crap, and i'd like to have a dot matrix screen + mp3

i don't like Alpine and Pioneer

any models you'd suggest??

Well Alpine and Pioneer are quite possibly 2 of the top 3 brands in terms of reliability and functionality for the dollar....

The only other brands I would even consider would be Eclipse and Clarion.

cause i think that alpine units are ugly and pioneer well...everybody have a pioneer

Clarion are really nice which model would you....recommend?

and eclipse they must be freakin expensive

I'd like the Clarion 9255 personally

I've heard good things about most of them, you should talk to yourself and decide what kind of budget you're looking at, then see which model fits inside of it. Read some reviews on the one you pick to make sure it's well-liked, check out the models right above that one and make sure they don't have any features you need/want, etc.

you can't say this is ugly (well, maybe you can, but I can't)

yeah i think i'll buy it

for the alpine yeah it looks nice even if it's an alpine and i don't like them maybe i should close my eyes and only care about the sound
