I have an E34 BMW 5 series: 1991. The stock 3 way has a tweeter in the A pillar, a 2.5" mid in the dash, and a 5.25" speaker in the kick panel. I am pretty sure that I am going to put a DIY component set in the front, but wanted opinions on where they should go.
I am looking at using the Daytron Rs180 7" for the mid and the Dayton RS28A for the tweet with a passive crossover at near 1200Hz. They will be driven with about 75wrms. Originally I was going to put both in the kick panel as I have no time aligment on my hu, but please sway me another way if I should go that route. If the A-pillar becomes the recommended tweeter mount I will need to change to a different tweeter as the Dayton is 4.5". |

I have mbquart q series , put driver in door , used puddy to test tweeters in many locations before coming up with final spot, i would tack on tweeter and test for a day or two.
