I know this won't sound like a million bucks, but what if I just soldered a capacitor inline with my speaker, nothing else? Of course I would get the right sized cap. Has anyone done this? Does it sound decent? Will it wreck anything?
Thanks |

Use a non-polarized cap with the appropriate sized resistor to get a more accurate cutoff.

It won't wreck anything, it's a first order filter, 6dB/oct , that's all. What are you trying to accomplish?
