Talking ipod connect to car

i have a newish honda accord and i want to hook my ipod directly into the car stereo, but i dont know how.

1. what kind of cable hooks into the car stereo?

2. can i get it for ipod

From the factory? None. Well, possibly there's an adapter for a factory CD changer, but basically, unless you want to do some heavy mods, you're SOL.

I've added pre-amp inputs to an older Toyota deck, by sacrificing the AM tuner, there's details in this forum somewhere, do a search.

Not as good as direct connection, but you can buy an accesssory FM transmitter & then tune your car stereo to the iPod.

Just go the the apple store & look under accessories.

Are you sure it doesn't have a 1/8" stereo input jack on the front? If it does, then all you need is a cable that goes from Ipod to 1/8" stereo.

you can get one of those cheap tape convertors used to transfer audio from a personal cd player...
