HeadUnit with 1 preamp out, but i need 2

Hi people,
Hope you can help me, my bro just gave me his car-audio setup. i now have two amps but my Headunit has only one pair preamp(RCA output), I was hoping to have 1 amp to power front seps. and the other one to power rear subs.
Since the preamp(RCA output) of the HU is for the rear fill, I have no other preamp output for the front fill(seps), and I want the FRONT-REAR fader to be functional. Will connecting the Headunit speaker output directly to the amp input damage the amp?

u can simply split the rca's comming out of the HU

Yes, you can buy RCA splitter adapters from most car audio shops.

Why not buy a LOC and hook it to your front speaker outs on your hu. Use the preouts for the sub amp.

Line out converter? I dont know either

A line out converter conerts your speaker outputs to preamp outputs. It can be purchased at any audio store for around $20.
