Default what bass box?

i am going to build me a bass box for a 10" sub. it is going to be placed in the trunk in a audi A4 2002 sedan. Any recommodations of how to build the sub-box...? Is it best if the element is faced towards the backseat or faced backwards..? As you may understand i havent done this before so any help is welcomed.

mine uses two 10's and they are facing downward into the floor forming a slot where all the sound comes out. works well, gets to 120db with two crappy 10's.

Facing forward usually isn't the best way to point them. Maybe test it out before making your final decision. I've had success with facing it towards the rear.

Graks, JL Audio have some good information about car sub box. You can get some insperation from there. One more useful link I feel sorry for hijacking your thread, and not providing useful information.
