maybe one of the car speakers is shorted or maybe its impedance is too low , i dont think u are testing it on the bench with the same speakers as those inside the car

![]() It sounds to me like the line supply to the amplifiers SMPS is horrible. perhaps you should put the power rail of his car under a scope and spot the problem instantly. bets are its... horrible
