If you solder a bridge between pins 2 and 3 of the 21844, does it go into protect?

Got it running now. Smoothly. Just need to order new matching outputs.

one of the outputs was actually a diode. when the output boars was on a set of risers it was working now i sodered the board down the amp is back into protection? i stopped looking at it for tonight.

Do you have a pulled via that was making contact when you had it connected with jumpers but not now since you cannot solder from the top without a bit of extra work?

I'll check perry. I used quick chip on them tho it fell right out. Then I tack sodered in the riser. And something is bridged somewhere.

CQ will bridge between pins more easily than other solder so you have to be more observant when using it.

BRX2416.1D Goes into protection

I am having a issue with a BRX2416.1D hifonics that goes into protection after a few seconds of powering up. I have attached two images of the power supply driver card and the output driver card both with arrows which are connected together when traced.

If I place the tester lead to ground and place the positive lead on any of these points the amplifier will power up and is OK. when I remove the lead from the point the amplifier goes back to protection.

Is anyone familiar with this issue can assist.?
