all of my pics are bmp, and as such i would have to convert all of them. i believe there is a limit to how much i can upload, and the files all zipped together are 214mb. is there any way to email these to you? i have included a sha1 checksum of the enclosed zipped files for protection. this would help me to help you.
ok, here we go. i don't know if you have seen any of this before but i would like to show you
all the different "builds" of series VI colossus. picture 1 comes from the internet and i believe
it to be a series 6 because of the black anodized heatsink. notice how this one appears to have 3
or 4 seperate pcb's. also take note of the font that the word "colossus" is written in.

this is the series 6 colossus that i bought from a friend in 1992 and it has rev. b
written on the silkscreen. notice that the font on my pcb is the same as the above colossus,
but mine is 2 seperate pcb's, not 3 or 4. take note of the square mini-bridge on my colossus,
with the big caps next to it.

next, we have the series vi colossus that i bought off ebay a few years ago. it also has rev. b
on the silkscreen, but the pcb has the components arranged much differently. notice the round
mini-bridge, with the small caps next to it instead of the large ones.

and lastly we have another photo from the internet that appears to be a series 6. it looks
the same as the one i got off of ebay, but notice the square mini-bridge with the small
caps next to it. so as i have shown, there are many different series 6 colossii (plural heh heh!)
that being said, many of the resistors surronding the power supply are of differing values.
as such, i don't know if my pics will help you or not (i obviously need to get a real camera!!)
if you are needing resistor values or other it may be easier for me to call them out for you.
but i will help you any way i can!

ok, lets try a different browser. i will show the pics from the power supply of my colossus (bought in 1992) first and then the
pics from the ebay one second.
