I got the above mentioned amp. The complaint was it drains the battery even though it is not on. When i gave power, it was pulling 3amp of current when I was using a current limiter. When i took off the remote it was still pulling current so I off it. I removed the top and and took the board out.
I tried again without audio mixer board and I get only 1.6amps which is ok. Then I removed the current limiter and on the amp and it is pulling 2.2 to 2.4amps and when I remove remote it goes to 1.2amp and stays there for few seconds and the cuts off. I want to know what is the idle current for this amp. And if that delay in cutting off current after removing remote is normal for this amp? Please advice.
