PPI A404 Amp Repair
I bought this amp used and it was already damages and repaired once, of course the seller did not notify me of this. Anyways when I received it, it was damaged. One of the resistors was burnt and also one of the transistors was gone. I don't know what the original model number was but it was replaced with a NTE332 transistor. Does anyone know what transistors the PPI amps use? I have seen two model #s on the amp made by MCM

I don't have the amp sitting in front me at the moment but I believe the model numbers were:
2N6490 & 2N6487

If you guys need pictures to help I would be glad to take some and post them.

I have already ordered a new NTE332 transistor, and a few InOne transistors.

Any help would be great

Directed Electronics owns PPi now. Your first stop should be to get a schematic.

They don't give them out, but I think I have it figured out...just going to replace a couple of transistors.
