Im not sure if this a correct section or not allowed to post related to headunit problem. Anyway ill give it a try.
I encountered a few of headunit no power problems but i dont give attention because i dont know how to repair it. Now i have here in my bench alpine 9855 no power, would somebody instruct where to start checking? What component to check? I know in car amplifier i go to first to pwm ic.

First, make sure that all buttons/switches/encoders operate cleanly (click sharply and immediately return strongly to their original position).
