Default Alpine 3545 blows all fuses after 5 seconds of power

Hello I have a alpine 3545 that blows all 3 fuses almost right away. One of the ground wires to the battery feels warmer than the rest when it blows. Any ideas where to start or what's logical to check first. Thanks for any info

Are any of the output transistors shorted?

Don't use the original fuses for testing. If you don't have a way to limit the current, use a single 15 amp fuse in the amp. If you stress the power supply transistors, replacements (that are not counterfeit) may be hard to find.

THAT would be hard to do anyway, since he has "an Alpine 3545 that blows all 3 fuses almost right away"

Are you here to make trouble or are you going to try to post something helpful.

Continuing to blow the original fusing will cause more damage. Using a limiter or finding the fault will prevent blowing the single fuse.

Thanks for the start. Looks like 3 of the c3182n on the one side are shorted.

The originals aren't likely available.. The FJA4213 and FJA4313 should be good subs for the NPN and PNP output transistors. Order both.

Order from digikey or mouser.

If you desolder the 3 that appear shorted, you should find only one shorted. If you reinstall the other two, you should be able to determine if there are other faults.

So your saying reinstall the 2 that are okay and power it up with the shorted one removed to see if it blows the one 15 amp fuse. Thanks

Yes. It could be OK or it could have damaged the driver IC.
