building speaker pods.1 6.5" mid range 1 6.5" mid bass 1 1"tweeter,each side.
where would be a good starting point,for mounting these into a speaker pod in the kick panel.
it`s in a full size truck so i do have the room.
i`ve mocked it up in a few ways.it seems to sound best with the midbass on top and the tweeter to the bottom.the midbass aimmed almost pointed at each other,the mid range kinda half way towards the center of the cab,the tweeter a little forward of center.
shoot me some ideas.something you`ve done or seen.

Tweeter position above or below the woofer will have a lot to do with where the stage height will be in the car. 12dB/octave crossover will tilt the image down somewhat when the tweeter is over the woofer and up when it is below it. Experimentation is the best bet but you've found that out already.
