Default dead time

Can somebody help me?. I am one of the ones constructing the rodīs elliots SMPS for car amplifier using the SG3525.

My question is related with the DEAD TIME. What is the design criteria to select the DEAD TIME...Shoul I use the td(off) and tfall from the MOSFET datasheets so the requiered DEAD TIME should be= td(off)+tfall?

Thanks in advance.
