Audi A4 Concerto -> Panasonic shuttle interface

How can I make an interface to fit a Panasonic CX-DP88N shuttle to a Audi A4 Concerto radio?
Is it just a matter of connecting the correct wires to each other or is there some kind of protocol convertion?

In your research, I don't suppose you came across the protocol used? The reason I ask, is that I fancy going one step further, and using a mini-ITX motherboard and hard drive to simulate a "Changer".
