Default Looking to upgrade headunit need some advice on EQ

Hey fella's

I currently have an Alpine CDE-121 and was disappointed to find out upon hooking up the "pre-amp" output to a subwoofer that the parametric eq also eq's the pre-amp output. Therefore I can not properly EQ my speakers / create an effective highpass filter.

What headunits feature a true pre-amp/pre-eq output so I can send full range to my subwoofer and create a highpass for the components? I am having a bit of difficulty since it does not appear to be spelled out on the headunits. Just fyi my subwoofer will have it's own passive lowpass.

I appreciate your help!
