My Pioneer car radio has a very weird issue

Check out this video i made of it happening. It seems to be a firmware glitch but it does it even after updating the software. One would think the bbuttons are bad. But they are not, they all click, light up ec, the "-" button thinks it is the button to tilt the screen for a cd aka it thinks it is the button to the left of it.. very odd. any help anyone?

not sure i'm of much help, but, i would check the face board for corrosion, etc. check ribbon continuity, but there's likely a separate ic that converts the buttons to databus that has failed. i bet you could find a whole new face board on ebay for cheap. that's where i would start.
