Default 31n20d substitute

I was wondering if i could use a 45n20b in place of a 31n20d.

It would depend on the amp. Unless someone has stated that they have used a substitute in a class D amp REPEATEDLY and knows definitively that they have survived, use the original. If you buy the 31N20D, buy from a reputable distributor. There have been too many problems with those from ebay and from the far-east.

its a cheap boss ar3000d monoblock amp and has only 4 31n20d. I dont really feel like putting money into it and I have the 45n20b sitting here so maybe Ill just try it and see what happens. Just thought I would ask here first and get some opinions.
