Default Sundown SCV2000

I just picked up a Sundown scv2000d. The previous owner hooked it up to a single battery so that he could .test" the amp. He allowed the voltage to drop to far and burned up the power fets in it. They are UTC 70n06l. I am having trouble locating anyone who sells them. Is there a suitable equivalent to them? Thanks.

Did you find a datasheet for that part? The L suffix may be important.

Here is what I could find. I can only find the part number under the utc brand. I don't know if it is exclusive to them or not.

Sometimes the L in an FET part number means that it's logic level and has a logic level drive circuit (that won't work with standard FETs).

Look at the drive signal with your scope. If the amplitude of the drive signal is about 10v, it's a normal drive circuit.

The IRF3205 is sort of an all around replacement. If the drive circuit produces at least 10v of drive and uses an emitter follower pair between the driver IC and the FET, and the gate resistors are 47 ohms or less, the 3205s should be good subs.
