Hi Guys
hope some one could shed some light with the repair of this amp. I loan it to a friend and it returned faulty.
The symtoms are as follows.
When powering up there is a loud pop on all four speakers, this happens when power is removed as well.
Current draw is about 3,045 amps at Idle.
What i noticed when power is removed the negative rail voltage decrease extremely slow compared to the positive I think this is the course for loud pop on speakers.
With the current draw I reset the bias all the way down, it seems to have brought the current draw down to about 2,8amps. I also removed all the transistors from circuit . Current draw stays constant at 2,8amps.
Please if any one has suggestions I'll true appreciate it.
