Default fosgate MOSFET power 1000c help!!!

OK I've looked at the manual can't figure out how to bridge amp down to one channel. Amp is set to 2 channels, I'm pushing 2 12w6v2 in a series. What color wires do I use to bridge the amp? Also looking for a fosgate MOSFET chrome 650.
Thanks for your help!

Hi,

According to the (confusing) diagram its a 4 channel
amplifier that can be wired as 2 channel bridged.
It can't be reduced to one channel bridged.
It can be wired as 2 channel parallel for 1 channel with
some additional series resistors and an input splitter.

rgds, sreten.

I think I'll just wire it parallel/ 2 channel. 1 channel each speaker. Its 4 amps in 1! The diagram is very hard to figure out. But it think I understand it.lol
Thanks.

Hi,

2 channel wiring is bridged. L + R in.
Output is across Lfront/Lrear and Rfront/Rrear.

What's the impedance of each individual voice coil for the woofers?

The woofers will handle it. Just need to bridge it down to one channel. Sreten you last post I didn't understand?
Thanks. Also looking for a fosgate MOSFET chrome 650.

Hi,

Your not making sense.
You can't bridge it down to one channel.
Its 4 channel or 2 channel bridged.

For the 2 channel setting outputs are :
Left : White/Orange, Right : Gray/Brown.

rgds, sreten.

Perry was not asking if the woofers can handle the power or not ..

The reason he asked what ohm is each voice is because if you run the amp below the recommended load you will burn the amp up ..

JLs are Dual 4 ohm. The amp is 2 ohm or great. 2 channels bridge, is one channel. The amp has a push button 2or4 channel. It is set to 2 channel. I need to bridge it. Its OK now tho. I got it all taken care of. It is bridge and it is bumping. MB quart 6,4 tweet with 2way mb quart 5 1/4 n the back. Power 1000c pushing 2 12w6v2(3 12w6v1 on the way). JL black 300/4 push mids and tweets. Phoenix Gold TBA,215eq,blocks and fuse blocks all made in USA! Trunk is almost done!

The only safe/practical way to use this amp (all 4 channels) with those speakers is one voice coil per channel. Bridging two channels to one 2 ohm woofer will cause the amp to fail if driven hard. Bridging 2 channels to one 8 ohm woofer is the same as one coil per channel.
