This amp has been repaired 3 times by a local shop .. Everytime. It was the same problem.. Blown outputs..

Amp uses IRF540'S as the outputs .

I'm going to replace all the outputs and drivers ..

Wondering if I should check anything else before ordering parts?

If this circuit is similar to the 2300, the IRF3415 may be a bit more reliable.

Replaced the outputs with IRF3415..

Amp came back the same outputs were blown..

Fet 301,303,305

Replaced the outputs and drivers again..

How do i set the bias in this amp?

Do i just watch my amp meter and when it starts to rise back it off a lil bit or is there a different way to set in in this amp?

That's how I set the bias. If you think the bias is the problem, drive the amp until it's near thermal shutdown and recheck the bias.
