I'm referencing the 1001R. If they're the same in your amp, they are in series with the power supply pins of several op-amps in that area. There could be several problems.
1. The regulation isn't working driving too much voltage to the op-amps.
2. You could have a defective op-amp.
3. Least likely, you could have shorted filter caps.
