Default Alpine MRX-M110

Anyone know what the part number is for the driver IC's in this ?

All of the outputs are shorted IRFB5615

The drivers IC's are marked

ANAVIEW.COM C1
047P
C B6W5

They are a 16 pin IC and there are 2 of them Not sue on the part number for theese

Anyone know what the part number is or what replacement IC'S will work in this amp?

Perry,

Could this be the driver IC I'm looking for?

Unlikely. The IC is probably a proprietary Anaview IC. It may only be available from Alpine.

How did you determine that they were defective?

This amp uses 8 outputs 3 were defective out of. 8

I removed the 3 defective ones and tested the remaining 5 for shorts or leaking..

All tested good I checked all resistors and solder connections all seem fine

I put the. 5 back in the amp and powers it up and it keeps blowing outputs so I'm assuming the driver ic's are defective

Using a current limiter and having the FETs clamped should have prevented blowing the FETs.

Pacparts doesn't have the ICs listed. Contact them to get a price. If they're expensive, I'd spend time checking the ICs more thoroughly (finding the high and low-side supply pins and checking continuity between those pins and the corresponding output pins for the IC).

I've also seen FETs (that were in an amp where other FETs failed) check OK with a meter but fail when driven at high frequency. If the ICs are expensive and they check OK after you find the pins listed above, I'd try a set of new FETs.

Put new outputs in the amp ..

Amp powers up and idlees perfectly I have + - rail voltages

I also have + - 15 volts on the op amps..

Amp has no output at all..

Any ideas on where to go from here?

What is the question that you've been asked for virtually every class D amp that didn't have output?

Without a service manual or a datasheet on the driver ICs, I don't have any other suggestions. You may be able to get the service manual from PacParts but there's no guarantee that that will be enough to successfully repair it.

Im gonna call Alpine tommrow and see if the IC's are avaible..

Pins 9 and 10 of 1 IC read 22 ohms between the pins

The other IC that is the same part number reads in the mega ohms

So im guessing that the IC's are defective..
