Amp is dead have only 0.60 volts getting to pin 8 of the 494..

Pin 3 of the driverboard is connected to pin 8 of the 494 i pulled Q226 -- A1266 and only get 0.60 volts there also on leg 1

Anyone know what to check next to see why i have no voltage there or have a similar issue?

Ok power supply driverboard is defective..

I swapped it out with a known good driverboard amp trys to power up now but is stuck in protection mode..

I removed the output driverboard thinking that may be why its in protection mode but after removing it amp is still stuck in protect..

Anyone know how to defeat the protection in this amp? for further testing

Ok I shorted pins 3 and 4 together of the small ic on the driver board

Nothing changed the amp still doesn't power up and both led 's are lit up

Any ideas?

No one is going to have information on every amplifier but many boards are used in multiple amplifiers. If you post good quality photos of the main board and the driver board (where applicable), someone may have enough information on a similar amp to be of some help.
