Monsoon car audio question

question: is there a way to limit the amount my ampifier outputs?
sometimes the diffrence between off and the lowest level is huge. I like to listen at low levels at times.

I have a standard monsoon system that comes in the 2000 VW GTI VR6

What do the inputs look like from the pre-amp to the main amplifiers? If there standard RCA inputs you could easily ad one off inline attentuators.

my Mitchell data base gives me squat on that car but if like most newer systems there is an amplifier mounted in the car for each pair of channels so it would be a big pain in the butt to do what you want...............and FYI to everyone....newer cars have part of the BCM (body control module) built into the the factory deck....if youi remove it then the car will be USELESS
