Question Audiopipe AP-15001D Repair.

Hello everyone!
So I have Audiopipe AP-15001D That I'm working hard to bring back to life. Mostly for the knowledge but lastly for a decent amp as well when It's fixed.. I'm Working on a Computer-aided Electronics engineering degree so I'd I'd Like to say a know a fair amount about electronics. I'm just fairly new to amplifiers so, Plz bare with me.... I figured this would be a great place to start.....

Ok so... What I've figured out so far. When received "well given cause it didn't work!"

It was a no power on at all. no lights Nothing.....
I was told that it had gotten wet So this could be a helpful Tip in the long run....

So upon opening the case and inspecting the board closely, The first obvious problem was 12 Caps had let there mystical juices out.
(4x 250v-22uf's) (8x 25v 2200uf's)

And there's no way to get that back in so..... poof those are removed new one's ordered and installed.....

Had Hoped (however Childishly) That replacing all the bad cap it would be ready to rock 'n Roll. Buutttt No... lol

Got them all in still nothing......

When over the board with magnifying glass and fine tooth comb.. Visually the board is spotless....

So Now it was Time to pre-stretch and bust out some Google-fu moves..
Thx to you awesome diyaudio guys I was able to find A semi almost good service guide. Attached btw.........

It's helped diag the remote switching curcuits Which allowed me to figure out it wasn't turning on cause two pnp Transistors had let there magic smoke out..
(Q17 & Q19) which are m6 8558 pnp. Luckly me I have another of the same amp lying around for parts. snagged them and now there's power.

IT's Alive!!!!!!

Certainly a step in the right direction...
However now it powers on but to only have the protection led lit and the power led blinking.

Hopefully Youtube links are allowed....

This brings me to where I currently am......
With a proper wiring diagram I sure I could probably maybe track it down eventually but, As you'll see in the attached service manual the main diagram is to blurry to make out the component ID's.

So, I thought I would ask Some audiophile Vets for Some advice. Perhaps this is and obvious symptom and can point me in the right directions to try.....

I got pretty much most equipment one could ask for "fluke DMM 60Mhz Oscill. etc etc..

Just need some direction or help....

Thx.....Sobiguy
