Please help with memphis mcd 500

Unit will not power up.There's 12 volts at the power supply transistors.The vertical card which I believe is the called the "driver" card where the tl494 lies I believe is the problem.I have no voltage on any of the pins of the tl494.On the main board where the card plugs in it says b+ and there is 12 volts there so I believe the card is getting power but it isn't reaching the tl494.I just wonder if im troubleshooting correctly and perhaps there is a failed part in the driver board preventing the tl494 from operating.

If you get 12 volts on the main board but no 12 volts on the 494 then see what connects to pins 11 and12 of the 494 on the driver board..

I checked all the resistors on the driver board that lead to the 494.Perhaps its one of the transistors on the driver board although I'm unaware how to check them.Something is causing a break between the driver board pins where it enters the main board and the 494.Where it says b+ on the main board where the driver plugs into can be used as a reference to prove the driver board is getting power?

Yes,the driver board is getting power although it isn't isn't making it to the 494.I must have a failed transistor or something.Just having trouble diagnosing which part.I'm trying to trace it.But I do not know what's in between b+ terminal and 494 on the driver board.

i think Q11 feeds TL494 through the 10R half watt resistor.

I think your right.the resistor is fine.I'm going to have to pull the transistor to check.Thanks!I've never went this deep in electronics repair.Especially tracing circuits.
