I played around with a cheap boss active crossover with this setup, and it worked almost perfectly.. except the s/n ratio was pathetic.

just finished skimming through it all. well done. I love the idea of creating something that is highly specific to you need, so you have something that sounds great, looks great, and still practical enough that it doesn't impede on the cars practically. it appears, thanks to the use of the smuggle box that your modifications have made no impact on the free space inside, I like that

You're right though. That was my intention. Not mess up the car too much, yet get the results you want anyway.
It really worked out, but in my case I needed the DSP, especially time alignment to get to that level.
