Default GTMAT 110mil Sound Deadening material

Hey guys I just ordered 25 Sq ft of GTMat 110 mil sound deadening material, haven't gotten the box yet but it seems promising, I have used Dynamat Extreme before but couldn't afford the full treatment so my results were minimal. I wanted to make this post so I can come back later and let you guys know how it works and if I have any problems.

These guys make 50mil 80mil and 110mil rolls in various sizes. Dynamat extreme is 67mil I think so technically speaking this should work at least as good. I picked up the roll for $80 which comes with a roller, good deal!

Planning on using this in my Toyota Corolla with my JL setup hopefully I can get rid of that pesky rattle and resonance! Post back result and pics by request later!

Anyone have any experience with GTMat? Your thoughts? any advice?

Thank You

Getting in my GTMAT today, UPS says it out for delivery, has anyone on this forum done any sound deadening in their car?

I'm excited to get this all installed, hopefully this will help with some of my rattle problems.

I also purchased 3 bundles of home insulation strips, and a roll of foil tape for the Gtmat. Threw in a can of Great Stuff foam to seal in any gaps I cant reach. Any other advice on what I should stick under the carpeting and panels? My goal is to eliminate rattle on high volumes with a subwoofer, reduce resonance of the panels and to reduce the road noise. As a side benifit I am stuffing in insulation and foam to help with thermal issues so my AC and heater will work better in the car. Anyone find a good store that sells acoustic foam for a good price in the states? I don't have the time to order online and I don't want to have to take anything apart again when I am all done.
