so i have read a few places that you can mod the Kicker ZX-750 to be 1 ohm stable. currently im running 2 D4 subs rated at 600W(conservativly, i free-aired them at 500W and they didnt reach mechanical limits or even get warm). i just got a zx-750 in a trade(birth sheet 985W @14.4V at 2 ohms) and would like to make it 1 ohm stable if possible so i can get the most out of my subs.
my cars voltage sits at 14.1 at idle and drops to 13.9 with my current amp(a/b amp pushing ~500W). i will be upgrading my electrical slightly(AGM battery as well as 0ga big 3 and 0ga run to the back currently have 4ga) as well as adding 2 fans to my amp rack to flow some air over the new amp. any thoughts on making it 1 ohm stable?
