Anyone know what the z 44 drivers r they are marked 232

Perry there is a uy and wy, I replaced all the z44's 560's and the rectifier next to the z44's at least I think thats what it is amp will play music for a second then quit repeats, never goes into protection, one of the drivers the wy is burnt I did not notice it before, would that cause the problem I checked it in curcuit, i know one leg is supposed be unsoldered then checked but it's burnt so assuming it's bad

It's a KTA1666 but that's not generally readily available. If the board isn't damaged too badly to use the same type of transistor, Use a 2SB1260.

That's for the WY transistor. Did the other one fail as well? For the UY, you can use a 2SD1898.

no it didn't fail I just figured I would get some, I have repaired about six of the jl 500/1 never had problems with the drivers I guess i got lucky, your a lifesaver thanks alot perry
