I have on the circular dial settings Ohms for one selection in which i can go all the way down to mohms then when i move the dial down to the diode check setting i can toggle between ohms and volts for testing diodes im not sure what you mean by auto ranging it might be better if i had the instruction manual but of course i cant even find it online unless i wanna pay for it.
