I've never tried but I think it can be powered up without the pots.

Well I replaced both pots and transistors anyway just because I have them.

No change still pulsing......I dont get it why would shorting the e-c of the bias transistor allow the amp to not pulse and produce clean audio?

I removed the jumper from the bias transistor and followed its traces through the board and one of them went to Q309 and from there to Q310.

I removed Q309 and Q310 from the circuit and the amp idles fine with no pulsing but does not produce clean audio.

I will try and put new Q309 and Q310 in the board to see if it helps.

No difference re-installed a new Q309 and Q310 and the pulsing is back and 3 series outputs are getting hot still.....I am truly at a loss here.

Should I re-install Q206 and Q207 first?

Could you mean C205 and C303 as I dont find any C203 on the board???

Shall I re-install the jumper first so its not pulsing or do you want it pulsing while testing?
