Success!!!
Installed all new FETs, cleaned up the board, FETs and heat sink, applied new thermal compound, installed the board and clamped everything down.
I used a regular 20 amp automotive fuse in-line with the B+ wire and powered it up, Green Power LED lit and all seemed well. so I powered it down, wired up a 4Ω speaker and used my iPhone to supply an audio signal and I have music! sounds clean too.
Are there any special precautions I should take with this amp? like should I take it easy on the amp? should I refrain from strapping it together with another one? or should I just give it hell and see if it's as good as the other 3 I have?
I can get this installed and ready for my bass comp on Sunday, I just wanna know if I should take it easy or if I should go and compete like a Pro (that fixed his own amp, with MUCH help from Perry Babin) and see if I can break my current record of 158.4 db @ 37.5Hz and 153.x db @ 43Hz in the car next to me.
