Earthquake PH2000

I got one of theese in for repair..

The outputs are Shorted They are SSP45N20A's does anyone know of a good replacement for them?

Is this a 4080 based amp?

S Merlington 12th November 2012 05:15 AM

Yes

Perry Babin 12th November 2012 05:49 AM

The IRF3710Z should work.

S Merlington 12th November 2012 06:00 PM

Perry,

I was looking at the wrong amp..

This is not a HIP4080 based amp..

Should i still try the 3710Z's or is there a better choice?

Perry Babin 12th November 2012 07:15 PM

No. I would need to know more about the amp to offer any suggestions. What's the rail voltage?

S Merlington 12th November 2012 08:20 PM

Rail Voltage is 69 volts

Perry Babin 12th November 2012 10:04 PM

The 3710s definitely won't work. The rail voltage is probably too close to the limit for the IRF3415 (a transistor that I commonly use as a sub for the SSP45N20 in amps with a bit less rail voltage).

Post a photo of the board.

Heres a pic of the Board Hopefully it works lost my camera cord and i took this with my phone

That appears to be a variation on the MTX/Sony class D amps. Is the power supply regulated?
