If it's in good working order, it would be OK but you can't tell if it's working properly from that photo.

Quick update on this amp, I replaced all the output
Transistors on the blown side and it now produces a very low sound

The other channel still works fine.

Also I'm still on the lookout for a scope.

Is the audio clean but low or is it distorted?

Have you operated all controls through their entire range to see if the audio output played at a normal level (even intermittently)?

Have you swapped the RCAs to confirm that the signal from both RCAs was the same?

Did you check to see if any of the source resistors were out of tolerance?

Did you check the smd trasistors marked 1A and 2A?

Did you check the smd diodes marked 5D and A7?

Also did you check the SMD resistors within the channel that was blown to see if any are out of tolerance?

Perry - The audio output is lower than the working side
When wired in mono it makes good power but very distorted
(it didn't make any sound wired in mono previously)

The source resistors are the large resistors connected directly to the source leg or each of the output transistors.

The SMD resistors are the tiny surface mount resistors used throughout the amp (like the gate resistors).

The other SMD components he mentioned will have the markings he listed on the face of each of the components. All will have 3 terminals and a black body.

How do I test the smd's

SMD = Surface Mount Device

You test them the same way that you would if the device had wire leads.

Finally got round to trying a few of your suggestions on this one today.
5D was showing a dead short on all 3 pins so I replaced it and this amp is now fully operational! Sounds very good.
