jl audio 500/5 gate resistors*pic*
 

Hello, im currently working on a jl 500/5 and 4 of the power supply fets were completely burnt/ cracked along with the gate resistors, im going to replace all the fets and gate resistors, however 3 of the 4 solder pads for the gate resistors for R802 and R805 are completely gone and i have nothing to solder to. What is the best method to repair this broken trace for this situation?

You can use resistors with wire leads instead of SMD resistors. You can also use small wires to replace the burned/missing traces with SMD resistors.

as far as the trace goes for the top of R805, it looks like one end goes directly to the inner most leg and the center leg of the fet correct ? Also can i Solder a wire from R804 to R805 for the bottom end of the trace ? I followed the traces and it looks like they all connect together. If not where would be the best place to solder to ?
