I replaced the power supply fets in this amp..

Amp powers up and idles fine..

But i get very low distorted output almost can thear it..


Amp is producing rail voltage and + - regulated voltegs any ideas?

Did you try bypassing the preamp board?

Yes tryed bypassing it and also tryed a different preampboard from another working 81001 problem is still there

Is the audio clean coming out of the op-amp near the RCA jacks?

I have audio on Pins 1,5,6,7,8 on the op-amp near the rca jacks

any ideas?

Is the audio clean at the input to the class D amp (at the two electrolytic caps)?

Which 2 caps are you refering to ?

The two large SMD capacitors.

It would have saved time if you would have checked all of the electrolytic caps in the area.

I have clean audio on the 2 large smd caps
